Does The New 2024 F-150 Have A New Engine?
There's an exciting new adjustment coming to the entry level F-150s for 2024. The naturally aspirated Ford 3.3L Duratec V6 is going to be swapped out for a 2.7L twin-turbo EcoBoost® V6. This change may rustle some feathers but this change will bring the base F-150 a 325-hp, 400-lb-ft engine, adding 35 horsepower and 135 lb-ft of torque.Other engine options are:

- STX® - Starting at $43,895* - This trim brings a sportier feel to the XL with an available 5.0L V8 and FX4 Package.
- XLT - Starting at $47,620* - The XLT has been a staple in the F-150 lineup for many years and for 2024 the chances are good that this won't change with Pro Trailer Hitch and Backup Assist coming standard.
- LARIAT® - Starting at $64,995* - Luxury starts here with the Lariat® trim with a 12-inch LCD display coming standard including Ford BlueCruise, Intelligent Access, and Bang & Olufsen sound system with HD Radio.
- KING RANCH® - Starting at $73,425* - The King Ranch® is the first 2024 F-150 trim to have Pro-Power Onboard standard, making this a great option for those going to the job site.
- PLATINUM® - Starting at $73,425* - Starting at the same price as the King Ranch® it may seem like these are the same trims. Though they are similar, the Platinum® comes with a different combination of luxury options.
