All trims are now available as front-wheel drives, with select trims available with the option to upgrade to an AWD.

The base model, which is the 2024 Ford Maverick XL

What kind of performance can I expect from the 2024 Ford Maverick?

The new standard 2L four-cylinder engine churns out a vibrant 250 hp. Each trim comes in an eight-speed automatic transmission with a 1,500 lbs payload capacity and 2,000 lbs towing capacity. That’s a lot of power for a compact truck.

However, it gets even better. The hybrid powertrain offers 191 hp between a 2.5L four-cylinder engine and an electric motor so that you save on gas without sacrificing range and driving experience.
